Sharpen up those basketball skills and take your buddies
to the hoop! Gym shoes are required and all participants
MUST sign a waiver release form before playing.
Create a beautiful ceramic piece for yourself or as a gift for someone
else. Visit with friends or make some new ones. This program
is ongoing and meets every Wednesday. All participants have access
to the kiln.

After we teach you “How to Stay Young the First 100 Years”, state
of the art technology is available to measure stress at the level of
the spine. This new technology detects potential problems with the
spine, which may compromise your body’s optimal health. Each
test takes less than 5 minutes, is non-invasive, and does not cause
any pain or irritation. The health care class will be from 5:30-
6:00pm and the screening will go from 6:00-7:00pm. This is a
free Class so please call and let us know you are coming at

We have seen makeovers done on TV and wonder why we can’t
change into something spectacular. I could never do that, right?
Think again. This class teaches you the 3 secrets to looking your
best. If you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, if
shopping is something you hate, if you are not sure what your style
is or if you believe you are in a fashion rut, then this class is for
you. You leave with the knowledge on how to look 10 pounds thinner,
and learn an out the door makeup style that takes 5 minutes.
Feel free to bring in any clothes or accessories you would like
input on.
Classes are taught by Janis Fritsch, who has been a Creative Memories
Consultant for the past 13 years and she LOVES HER JOB!!!
Additional items will be available for purchase at all the classes, or
orders can be placed.
Come create a Valentine for your SWEETIE!!! All Supplies will
be provided, and you are welcome to bring a photo to add. All
“left over” pieces go home with you.
I’ve got the time to give you the power over those “photos gone
wild”. You will get the wonderful Power Sort Box with 12 dividers,
labeling pencil, and instructions. Bring LOTS of photos the
18”x18” box will hold up to 2400 photos that are up to 5x7 in size.
Grab a teammate and get over to the York Center Park District to
joins us in our first ever Bocce Ball League. Games will last 30
minutes or the best of three games. Teams will be able to win
prizes on the last day of the league.
During the course of the day, a great many different situations will
present themselves to us and although some of them maybe a
pleasurable experience, others maybe physically demanding or
emotionally taxing. This is when aromatherapy can help get us
through the day. Discover aromatherapy, and how to use the five
senses to create a warm and loving environment. If you have children,
this workshop is a must!
Join us at the York Center Park District for the game that starts parties.

Requirements for class: dogs must be dog and people friendly, at
least 16 weeks of age, and be fully vaccinated. Specific requirements

bring proof of vaccination to the first day of class. Minimum handler
age is 18 (exceptions may be made at the instructors discretion.)
At least one handler per dog required. The first class is

You will learn how to teach your dog over 20 tricks in this class!
Teaching our dogs a variety of tricks is not only a fun way to show
our friends and family how smart our beloved pet is...it’s also further
obedience for our dogs. The more we teach our dogs the more
capable they are of learning. If our dogs are challenged and mentally
stimulated daily, they live a happy, fulfilled life and are less
likely to find destructive ways to occupy themselves.
Who knew that you could get fit outside? Join us at the York Center
Park District’s new park and learn how to use our new fitness
equipment. There will be staff on site to show you how to use the
equipment if you need help.
In this AARP Driver Safety Program, you will learn defensive
driving techniques, rules of the road, new traffic laws and much
more in this 8-hour course. You don’t have to take a test and you
get an insurance discount (consult your insurance agent).
