Gymnastics is a wonderful and fun way for young children to
experience many varieties of physical activities. Your little star
will learn gymnastic positions, skills, and movements that will
develop coordination, strength, balance, and self-confidence.
The staff at Aerial Gym Stars uses safe, progressive, and positive
teaching techniques appropriate for each age group. Attire:
Instructors suggest shorts, and shirts without snaps, buttons, or

This class will allow your little star to explore many
different avenues of physical movement through basic
tumbling activity. This is a parent-assisted program! Active wear is
advised. Come and enjoy the interaction created for you and your child

Fu Panda
Help Master Shifu and the Furious Five: Tigress, Viper,
Crane, Monkey, and Mantis, train Po the Panda to help save
their city from the snow lion, Tai Lung. For lunch we will
eat peanut butter and jelly with potato chips.
This national program has been developed by educators to
engage inquisitive minds and has been featured on CNN and
in Parents Magazine. Children will explore exciting computer
activities in a small interactive group, using a laptop computer
and educational software. According to the Pediatrics
Medical Journal, “Computers boost pre-schoolers’ intelligence.
Children with ready access to computers scored an
average of 12 points higher on IQ tests”. Our programs
encourage reading readiness, math readiness, creativity and
teamwork, to help prepare your child for kindergarten and the

Did you know that there are over one million insects in the
world! An insect is a small six-legged animal that lives in
tropical jungles all the way to snow capped mountains.
Each month we will learn about a new insect, make a craft
and play some games.
Let’s join a place where words come alive! Children will
use letters and fun to build words. We will watch an
episode of Word World and have a snack. Each week we
will focus on one of the animals from the show and words
that rhyme with it.
Pre-schoolers area so eager to learn, and a joy to teach.
Young Rembrandts instructors provide a positive, nurturing
environment for your child. Each week we’ll draw something
these little ones are interested in, from fish to teddy
bears, rainbows to cowboys, and we’ll talk about the subject
matter as we learn to draw it together. We’ll concentrate on
the skills of drawing and coloring, but also work on developing
fine motor skills, focus, listening, staying on task,
spatial organization and patience.
Can Curious George stay out of trouble? Help the man in
the yellow hat watch this cute little monkey. We will watch
an episode of Curious George, make a craft, play games and
have a snack.
Children learn some basic first aid and they can get help in an
emergency. This class is an informational class presented by
the Elmhurst Memorial Health Education Center. Please register,
even thought this class is FREE.
Come and experiment with the tools that scientists use!
You’ll be counting the drops of water that will fit on a
penny as you use a pipette. You’ll be filtering liquids, looking
at magnified images and experimenting with mixing liquids
and even evaporating liquids.
Come and explore the world of art and music. We’ll begin
with a flat piece of paper, but before long we’ll turn it into a
3-D work of art. Plus on day 2 we’ll begin measuring liquids
and find that we can use
water to create music!
Does your little one have love to kick the ball around?
Then they should learn how to pass, dribble, and shoot the
ball. Classes are designed to improve listening skills,
enhance physical development and learn about teamwork.
Each week we will make snacks and desserts to bring home
and share with our families. We will going over kitchen
rules and safety each week. Please wear an apron or play
clothes because we are sure to get messy in this class.
Children will decorate ghost, goblin, witch, and pumpkin
cookies. We will use frosting, sprinkles, candy and our
imagination to decorate spooky cookies. Please wear an
apron, or play clothes because we will get messy.
Since everyone usually scares SpongeBob, this year he
decides to scare everyone else. We will watch “SpongeBob
Squarepants Halloween” make a spooky craft and have a
scary snack.
Does your child love to run around and play with their
friends? Bring them to this class as we release some energy.
We will play different games each class, with age appropriate
rules and equipment.

Thanksgiving is only a couple of days away. Help us decorate
cookies and other deserts to take home to your families.
Please wear an apron or play clothes we will get messy.
Have you been naughty or nice this year? Write a letter to
Santa and you will receive an individualized greeting from
him. Bring your letter to the park district and we will make
an extra special delivery to the North Pole. Make sure in
your child’s letter you put their name, address and what they
want for Christmas this year. All letters must be in by
Saturday, December 6.
Feliz Navidad! Dora has a special gift for Santa. Can her
and Boots get it to the North Pole before Christmas Day.
We will watch “A Present for Santa”, make a craft and have
a snack.
Lets whip up some delicious cookies for Santa! Children
will create and decorate a variety of holiday treats for the
whole family to enjoy. We will snack on their lovely creations
during class and receive recipes so you can make
these goodies at home. Please wear an apron or play
clothes.
How does Santa get everything ready for Christmas? He
has special elves that help prepare all the toys! We watch
the movie The Christmas Elves, eat a sugar coated lunch,
(mac and cheese) and make a holiday craft.
